The "paid in arrears" issue and associated questions indicate mass confusion, so you're not alone. Here's an example of the PAS/PS documents you'll need for February spreadsheet entries.
FEB PAS + FEB 28TH PS (P1) + MAR 15TH PS (P2) + FEB PROFIT SHARING PS (PB)
The end of the month PS applies to the same month as the PAS while the 15th PS is from the following month. The month reference refers to the date found in the top right of each PS.
I ran a test where I input my PS pay for 2023 in two different trackers. In the first, I rounded to the nearest dollar and in the second I used exact dollar amounts, to the cent. The total difference between the two spreadsheets amounted to a whopping $0.31...
I concluded, while it doesn't have the absolute accuracy of including the pennies, rounding to the nearest dollar was the cleanest way to build out this tracker while still allowing for 99.9% accuracy.
You must use the Apple Excel application to open the spreadsheet on an iOS device.
Note: Your DAL credentials can be used to log into the Excel App on the iPad
Yes, the year sheets are protected but you can unprotect them (no password) to allow editing.
It is, but you will need sufficient Excel knowledge to either edit the current chart reference data or create a new chart within the spreadsheet. The 2023-2026 sheets must be unprotected to edit or create new charts. Please message me if there is a chart view you'd like to see included in the TMP spreadsheet.
You nailed it! My hope is this TMP spreadsheet drives change at higher levels and we eventually see something similar to this implemented for use by the entire pilot group. Please email DALPA Contract Admin if you like this concept and encourage them to utilize their back-door DBMS access to provide us with a similar product without the need for user inputs.
